This project is currently underway, transforming the master bedroom of a 1916 Craftsman home to incorporate three breathtaking 9-foot stained glass windows salvaged from a historic New England church. With each window weighing over 200 pounds, structural reinforcements are being carefully implemented to ensure stability and longevity. The home’s 8-foot ceilings present a unique design challenge, requiring innovative solutions to seamlessly integrate the oversized windows while maintaining the space’s scale and character. The team is carefully considering placement to maximize the effect of natural light filtering through the stained glass without altering the home’s exterior walls. As construction progresses, the vision is coming to life—creating a space that evokes history and provides a tranquil oasis for the client.
